This process of meticulous bike construction, working to tight tolerances, can never produce a high turnover but we find there is great satisfaction in producing the very best bike we can make.
The historic Old Pilot House dates back to 1880 and was originally the home of the harbour pilot, an expert local sailor whose job it was to guide boats safely into the harbour. The Grade II listed building has been carefully refurbished so that today the Pilot House is no longer the home of masters of the vessels, but to masters of the pedals. With in house mechanics, bespoke bike builders and experienced advisors, Pilot House Cycles is perfectly placed to guide you through your cycling journey.
Cycle Huez was created with one goal in mind – to be your local bike shop wherever you have traveled from. We provide quality road bike rentals, bike servicing and repairs as well as an exclusive range of Alpe D'Huez Merchandise designed in-house. Open in the summer from May to early October, 7 days a week, we are happy to help with all your cycling needs.
